I don't need to add any simple word on other people comments for this record.
The only thing I can do I already did: I have choosen this release as the only one, for my Discogs collection list.
Dark Electro greetings from cyberspace.

Well, this is maybe the best thing in the UR catalouge, all three trax are timeless classics. If somebody want to show what "Electro/Techno" is about, future, rawness, a certain feeling, this is the one. Proved over years.
Each track has the right mixture of electro beats, synthesizer and sampling workout and on top of all, atmosphere.
Hardly can pick one as a favorite, I fall in love with each of them, years ago. Thank you UR.

Been shedding tears listening to this one in the record shop.
'Final frontier' is some kind of evidence that music-made-with-machines can cause deep and intimate feelings, beyond any rational ways of understanding...
I've heard few tracks up to now capable of such a powerful fusion of heavy dancing beats, nostalgic melodies, simplicity, darkness, complexity and brightness.
Could be the anthem of an ecstatic cybergoth party in a post nuclear Ibiza... could be !

Proof of Genius - if you still needed one - Mike's first attempts are always masterpieces, no matter the style, Techno, Garage or like here, Electro. With this strings, Mike defined the most important characteristic of Detroit Techno: the length of the melodical loops. The track is also close to the Red Planet spirit, like a soulful introduction to what Mike calls Trance.

'The Final Frontier' is probably my favourite UR track. Killer layered chords, excellent twangy 303, mean sub-bass, crisp drums. 100% vibes for Africa. It still sounds fresh and great more than 10 years on. If Mike Banks had beamed this track back in a time machine from 2041 I wouldn't be surprised.

The Final Frontier - this track is like a force of nature. A feeling which words cannot describe. The final frontier that we must cross to reach somewhere better. Another major UR moment. Base Camp Alpha 808 - great minimal space-funk. Entering Quadrant 5 - again that feeling only Mad Mike can create. Yet another UR classic!
