Plain black centre labels.
Record title, production information and track titles are all etched into the vinyl. However the track titles are etched into the wrong sides. Side A etching states "1. Quadrasonic 2. Back Road To Nirvana" but actually contains the tracks "Adrenalin" and "Beauty Of Decay" (listed in that order as the record plays from the middle towards the edge due to a special cut).
Side B etching states "1. Adrenalin 2. Beauty Of Decay" but contains the tracks "Quadrasonic" & "Back Road To Nirvana", cut normally from the edge towards the middle.
Also etched into the run-out on side B: "LIFE IS A WAVEFORM".

Although this release is catalogued UR004 it was actually the groups 3RD release. Jeff Mills cites the Theory as being the groups 1ST release.
Quadrasonic. The moment I fell in love with this I was at the Walker Art Center back in 93 at the Jeff Koons art opening. Kevin Cole was dj for the night and somewhere in the set this gem came up. Sometimes you gotta have a record played really loud and appropriately to really get into it. Boom!! Still one of my favourite moments from UR.
