The first official release on Junior Boys Own...a collective of Andrew Weatherall,Terry Farley,Rocky,Diesel,Ashley Beadle..to name but a few...and Terry Farley was the first to grace their new label under his Fire Island moniker with long time collaborator Pete Heller.Farley shows his Disco roots with these 2 tracks,but it's a mutant Disco feel...with In Yer Bones the vocal is cut up to a devastating effect..so no matter how wellied that you were that night you would still go out the club singing that vocal hook.."You put the b-b-beat in yer b-b-bone-bone-bones You put the B-b-beat in yer Bones....come on"...the vocal also give you a guided tour of what the track is going to do next so it was a Dj's dream to play...In Yer Bones completely overshadowed Wake Up which in my opinion was a bit samey as In Yer Bones and fails to reach the heights of the A-Side..but it is still a good track,but plods along...
