, Mar 10, 2008 I didnt really know what to expect from this album before listening to it, and afterwards, I wasnt impressed. Paul van Dyk never appealed to me as a talented producer, and although he managed many club hits later on, not much of his work seems to have that refined sound that good music usually has. His work on this release is fairly simple, with the expected goodies of For An Angel and 45 RPM, but the synths are reused often and there is not much of a flow to the tracks. Worth a listen to find out what Paul van Dyk was like long ago, but its barely worth a relisten. Was the above review useful to you? (report)
