Once again, Terry Lee Brown Jr. works his remix magic on a diverse group of artists (some of whom desperately needed it). Sono’s house/trance hit “Keep Control” gets a slamming mix, while Francesco Diaz’s “Say a Little Prayer” gets a more melodic mix. Both, however, still work wonders on the dancefloor, proving that he can work with both up- and midtempo pieces. The standout tracks on here, however, are Anima Sound System’s “Mariguana Cha-Cha-Cha” and Alphawezen’s “Gai Soleil.” Selected Remixes #2 just goes to show how a good remix can be a work of art in itself.
