at the time of its release this was a real good introduction to some of Chicagos best producers . very good booklet and interviews with all the important producers like Cajmere , Paul Johnson , Boo Williams and of course Felix Da Housecat . a lot of the tunes on CD 2 are still among my favourite Chicago house trax esp. "TA" by Paul Johnson which is a killer and a record i never saw later . Darksides "The Swarm" with this strange sound of killerbees on attack , "I Have Just Begun" by Roy Davis and of course the epic 10 minutes plus "Help Me" by Green Velvet are enuff to buy this Compilation . on CD 1 are a few good Detroit Tunes , but Chicago is presented much stronger on this one . Look out in second hand shops , sometimes you can find these Compilations for a goodkoop price..
