Macho's interpretation of the song made it a underground gay classic. With it's lustful disco sounds and all male vocals, the group turned this early Rock Pop song and stretched the idea to the then new gay generation. The concept for this disco version actually came the rock group Chicago and their version of the song from 1971. Chicago turned the Spencer Davis tune into a long drawn out ensemble and included a lengthy killer drum break. The Chicago version was heard in many Gay bars and Disco's way before Macho got a hold. It was the guys behind the band and their love for the Chicago song that inspired the whole project. Overall this is one classic gay song that has almost been forgotten about. It's still one of my all time favorites.
