This compilation shows the musical work of "Magic Juan" before starting his legendary avantgarde label Metroplex. He startet in 1981 with "Alleys In Your Mind" which was played by Electrifying Mojo on a local radio station in detroit a few days later after Juan had given him the tape - with big success. One "Hit" after another followed, particularly "Techno City" (1984) betrayed a lot of his visions for producing music in the future. The rest is history.
