Fantastic debut for Tony Wakeford's band. My all time favorite Sol Invictus songs are all here: "A Ship Is Burning", "Against The Modern World", "Summer Ends", "Angels Fall" and "Raven Chorus". This is also the more experimental Sol album together with "Lex Talions": large implement of drum machine, ambient keyboards and samples in these songs. "Wolf Age-Axe Age" is a forefather for many ritual-industrial outfits of today.
