Reviews & Discussion

Review by Reticulum_Flux Jun 18, 2006 (edited over 5 years ago)
Usually I find electronica/EBM releases to be pretty boring and uninspiring. Imperative Reaction has managed to show me to not always overlook every artist in this genre. I'll admit that IR's debut album and even their sophmore album, are mediocre at best and nothing to write home about... But with their 3rd album, Redemption, they've managed to evolve quite a bit. The singing (yes singing, not the typical "talking" that seems to be on most EBM releases) is very moving and full of life. The beats are pretty unique and probably every track on here could be a single for electronic radio stations. If they keep working on this direction, i'll be more then glad to keep supporting them.
