Galaxy (16) ‎– Dance Wit Me / Love On My Mind

I'm amazed anyone even knows this record, which sold 75 copies in Youngstown, OH back in 1979-1980. Richard Griffin (Nashville, TN) was the sax player. I (Rande Isabella) played trumpet with Galaxy for 2 years while attending college. In 1981, Galaxy changed its name to Natural Force and featured Billy Jenkins on bass, taking the funk to a whole new level. They then went on to become the backup or touring band for Sister Sledge. I am happy to see DJs in the United Kingdom starting to embrace this intense funk record.
