User Reviews:
MiketheHard, Dec 06, 2004

I have to confess, when I first got this album I skipped through it quickly, thought very little of it and forgot about it. Then after picking up a couple of the singles for the remixes I returned to it to do it justice. And Im very glad I did. I firmly believe its one of the best albums of 2004. Its fresh, original and raw sounding.
Its got a distinct sound to it which sounds to me a bit like Echo and the Bunnymen having a fight with Duran Duran whilst taking a truck of load funky pills and updating their sounds for the 00s. Its bass guitar and live drumkit led, with plenty of assorted funk - congas, sax, spanish guitar for example, thrown in for good measure with seriosuly cool vocals.
I really recommend you check this out if you like your music with a bit of edge and attitude.
