"Geomantik", Prana's second and last album, is a bench mark release in the entire old school goa trance niche! Plain and simple, this one has no less than 7 tracks which could launch me into a primal orbit around planet Earth any given time of the day. Except for Snake Thing's remix of Scarab and Process & Tristan's remix of Kiba, which are both stellar tunes- mind you, the rest of the album consists of seven audio samurais packing seven razor sharp sonical masterpieces which can hold their own against any, and I do mean any, old school heavyweight. Just scope out the first four tracks; it's the best Prana got. If you notice Suzuki's & Co. progress ever since their early releases like "Rite of passage" or "Tranzen EP" all the way up to tracks like Alien Pets or Boundless, you are bound to remain flabbergasted!!! Alien Pets being one of the genre's pinnacles and still to this day remaining one of the most loved and memorable classics. Acid synths, crazy melodies, groovy basslines, twists and turns, life altering psychedelia, pumping kicks and more FX wizardry than you ever hoped for, you name it- it is all here! As if those four tracks on their own weren't enough, The Green Nuns Of The Revolution and Chakra deliver the finest tracks they've ever produced, with their remixes of Scarab and Taiyo, respectively. Total Eclipse's remix of Starchild is just as awesome, but you already knew that even without listening to the CD. They never went wrong back in the day.

The greatest compliment I can grace "Geomantik" with is that I still in this present day listen to it on a more or less regular basis, without getting a sensation of it having aged badly, being tarnished or having lost its punch and rawness. Very few old school albums still strike me as much as they used to, but there where most fail, "Geomantik" has thus far never let me down. It deserves to be up there with the names like Koxbox, early Etnica/Pleiadians, X-Dream and the likes. Classic, classic stuff here. You owe it to yourself.
