Garbage. Cheesey. Those are two adjectives that come to mind when I listen to this record. Why are people paying $100+ for this?
The best electro record I've ever heard. It's got the big, boomin' snare drum and the odd bit of vocoder, but this isn't your bog-standard 80's electro jam; it's much more timeless than that. The bassline is infectious, the chord changes are sublime, and it's sprinkled with magical keyboard work throughout. An indispensable classic.
