This album just keeps on defying classification, proving Sonic Animation's fearless quest to push aural and electronic boundaries. What top-line super-DJ going to play "I'm A DJ", which criticises and lambasts their entire kind (with mildly coarse language, forcing a language warning sticker here in Australia at least)? How can you compare the bouncy, feel-good vibes of "Really Supa Doopa" to the life-gone-wrong angst of "Satin Filled Roof". Even listening to "Meaningless", with its jarring, Aphex Twin beats and blarts, might be a challenge. My respect for Sonic Animation has only increased with this album.
