Listening to it now, its hard to believe that "Memorabilia" is over 2 decades old as it holds its own with the best of subsequent electronic dance tracks and seems even more now in the current company of Felix Da Housecat, Les Rythmes Digitales & Playgroup. The 12" version is far superior to the 7", as it makes full use of the space to create an extended groove. Soft Cell perfected the art of the 12" mix & if you need an introduction to them, this track sums it all up. Unfortunately, "Persuasion" is rather self-indulgently experimental & is an unmemorable flipside to a classic track.
