As I write this I am waiting for my copy of this wonderful record to drop through my letterbox, which hopefully it will have by the time it's read by you. As a massive M83 fan I was surprised and delighted to see their inclusion on the Michael Mayer Fabric album when it came out long ago, but after one listen to the Jackson mix, it all becomes clear how a track by them could be fitted so perfectly into the peak of a immaculate house mix that it becomes the peak itself, and ever since then I've been trying to track down a copy of this until now personally elusive 12". It really is stunning and Jackson deserved all the hype he received for this mix (proved by the quality of his Warp debut), the other mixs would be worth getting on their own but are somewhat...overshadowed...and the original's totally lush. I'm going to wear it out really quickly, I can just tell.
