Indeed on of the very best Italo Disco tracks of all time. Perfect mastering, perfect arrangement, a bouncing bassline and loud & clear male vocals. Very romantic, very sentimental, and though being a bit platitudinous simply something to sing along and feel good. I can't stop listening to this song over and over again!

"Come On Closer" is such a HOT song! I would say that this song belongs in a category separate from most other italo disco songs. I would like to say this is one of those very uplifting tunes that you can party and dance too in a positive mood. This song is very similar to "Dancing Therapy" by I.M.S. and "My Forbidden Lover" by Tapps (not Italian). "Come On Closer" and the 2 aforementioned songs all tend to veer away from that typical dark, gloomy, and new romantic sound commonly heard in other "love themed" italo disco songs of this era, ultimately creating a very unique sense of style with very enjoyable beats and lyrics.
