The grand Detroit Techno producer Model 500 aka Juan Atkins delivers a fine piece of Motorcity Detroit Techno and this single is taken from his "Deep Space" album. "I Wanna Be There" is a firm classic in it's own form or genre, original and full of Motorcity emotion. A male deep voice saying "I Wanna Be There". Where(?) is only what our imagination can think of.. Just listen and descide for yourself! D&B producer Wax Doctor (Metalheadz / Good Looking) delivers what can be described as one of his best D&B remixes so far. Classic timeless Intelligent music full of deep synths and clever placed/ programmed beats, minimal but powerful bleeps (for your subconsciousness), accompanied with warm rhodes and deep basslines. "I Wanna Be There" was played to death and a firm favourite with dj's like: Fabio & Ltj Bukem, Peshay and dj Lee wich created many rewinds at Speed @ Marsbar (London, UK) at the hightimes of Intelligent D&B back in 1996 (in my humble opinion "The" Intelligent period). You don't hear that many dnb records with such a high quality production level, maybe Photek's Modus Operandi or Goldie's Inner City Life could be of the same level, but certainly timeless it is!
