No UFOs single is the beginning of the solo carrer of Juan Atkins as Model 500 and one of the most important releases in techno history. Its the first single of Metroplex, his label, still from 1985.
No UFOs track represented the avant-garde of the electronic music of that time, and became one of the biggest influences of the early Detroit techno scene. Its dark ambiance of the obscure bassline, strange synths and the sinister use of the vocals were unique.
Future is a dark electro-funk with a trend setter structure that inspired all of the artists of the genre, like the ones of Direct Beat.
