Forget the commercial crap like 'Limp Biscuit'. Hear the real musicians, who write from the guts, writing songs without compromising for record sales. A awesome and powerful rap-thrash/hard-rock/punk-metal album that's highly in-yer-face! with no-nonsense hard-hitting and highly controversial lyrics - just check Cop Killer!. This is a album written/produced by musicians who's souls feel the need to express the unfair, corrupt, wrongs, multiplication and dangers of downtrodden Black american life. Listening to the lyrics truly spit in the face of political-correctness and those who get offended easily - keep away!. Though tough and hard this still remains an incredibly listenable album with its strong story-like personal lyrics and music written by Ice T. Even the slower(a couple)tracks are incredibly powerful with the ability to hit the soul with hard, moving, and honest lyrics - none of this commercial MTV rock balled muisc for TV!. A great debut album with the balls to speak, not worry about chart and commercial success.

Also check the excllent and original thrash/metal-skate rock band Suicidal Tendencies "How will laugh tommorow", "Lights camara reveloution", "Still Cyco after all these years", "Suicidal for Life" albums....Another great band that have the balls to speak and tell it how it is, not worrying about chart success!!!
