Quite a bit of buzz about this record. And rightfully so, agressive beats and sick bass are just the start, Milanese has some very respectable drum programming skills considering how he is relatively a newcomer to the scene, he shows these off in the tracks Iacon and Flex mostly, as well as So Malleable.

He also has a very good sense of rhythm, as shown on the uncompromising opener Billy Hologram.

1up does have one downfall however, this being that it's a mini-album. I think I speak for most people when I say "WE WANT MORE!!!"

5/5 Excellent debut from one of Warp's soon to be top artists I predict. Bravo Milanese, bravo Warp, you've done it again.
