Chicane ‎– Saltwater

Thank god for this reissue! "Saltwater" is a massive classic that no DJ should be without. The original version is so dreamy and floaty it makes it quite unusual to become a classic, but this is one of the best Trance classics in existence. I don't think anymore could be done to the original. I certainly hope that Chicane doesn't try to remake it a few years from now. If there are to be new versions of it soon, then I reckon they should come from only the best in Trance talent.

This vinyl is quite a package, it has to be said. With the massive success that is the original, I can see it high-up in many people's wanted, or perhaps even next purchases. The Tomski vs. Disco Citizens remix is quite an interesting take on the track, putting a slightly more clubby spin on the original, but not shying away from the original elements too much. And then there's the classic sound of the Thrillseekers remix! This vinyl contains the "Thrillseekers House Mix" and the mix name has nothing at all to do with House, but it does help distinguish between the Ambient remix found on the 1999 Chicane album.

So, get out there and get this release! It's one of the few Trance tunes out there that is worthy of such an encouraging title to any producer as a Classic.
