Inspiration is a wonderful piece of music, one where the title truly sums up the track. Transition is by far my favourite track though, and is actually one of my all-time favourite tracks, full stop. It is a record that needs to be put on when I'm feeling down or doubtful, and it always manages to inspire me again. This is a truly amazing track, with beautiful vocal inspirations coming to the forefront over uplifting synths. UR3000 is possibly the strongest UR release of all.

For those that don't recognize the image on the "Inspiration" side of the album, it is an image of Rosa Parks sitting on the bus in front of a white man. A HUGE moment in time, that basically solidified a Civil Rights movement across America. During the live shows, UR shows images of Rosa Parks, Ghandi, Martin Luther King Jr., and such inspirational heroes during the live rendition of that song. Truly magical, this release was made as UR moved from the old 2030 building, to the new 3000 building...

As if this 12" wasn't classic enough as it is, UR have been performing a live version of "Inspiration" with the vocals from "Transition" over it. For the accompanying visuals, they show pictures of people like Martin Luther King Jr, Mahondas Ghandi, Frederick Douglass, etc. I have never witnessed anything so emotional in all of electronic music, just thinking about it makes me tear up. Underground Resistance is on a whole other level, and these tunes are exhibits 1 and 2 of that level.

"Transition" was straight away a hit, pushing all the right buttons, making it a dance floor filler but after hearing it in a club with a great sound system it went to new heights. This is how a track should be produced to sound amazing in a club but then again this guy have got some experience ;) It keeps on pumping and when you think it can't push more it will, great short breakdowns and when it starts again it slaps you in the face. The spoken vocals works very well and help the track to get even more character. The track reminds me somehow about Lil' Louis "French Kiss".
Instant classics! I feel that over time these tracks will prove to be one of the most popular and distinctive tracks from Underground Resistance. Each track name describes them both perfectly and they really do have a powerful effect on me whenever I play them. Mad Mike and U.R, I salute you for your
vision and creativity, thank you.
Inspiration - only Mad Mike gets inspired like this. A powerful piece of music. The sincerity of the beauty in Mad Mike's music really touches me every time. While other music will fade into the backround this music will shine bright. Another Mad Mike Classic!
Transition - when I know that I am not doing something in my life because of fear I have sometimes put on this track -snaps me out of it and recharges my courage.
"Inspiration" is a rather nice and very conventinnal techno piece but I think "transition" is more interesting : english/spanish vocals give a little latino touch to this funky track.
