As stated above, the song Flesh had a big influence on the Belgian dance scene, but only when it was discovered by a DJ that it plays better at 33rpm + 2% (or so) instead of the original 45 rpm. This started the shortlived "not faster than 120 bpm, manneke!" dance scene "New Beat".
