the a side is an epic that combines a detroit lushness with Chilean minimalism. amazingly spooky strings finish off one of my favorite tracks.
Ananas has a more dry funky kind of feeling. Apparently Villalobos recorded this at half tempo and then sped it up in order to be able to fit all the crazy little quirky details.
all in all one of the best records from Perlon in my opinion.
