One of Jean-Michel Jarre's best albums, it is one of my preferred, it is about the continuation of Oxygene, consisted 20 years previously, it is deserving successor of this album...

Jarre had gone a bit of the boil at the end of the 80's with "Revolutions" and "Waiting for Costeau". Although Chronologie was a promising return to form no-one could have expected he had a masterpiece like this album up his sleeve. Many of the tracks here rank among his best ever compositions. The production is wonderful (bubbly analogue synths bounce around), coupled with his trademark warm and soothing melodies makes this album a classic on par with Oxygene and Equinoxe.

Great album if you liked the original. Jarre's gone back and used similar analog equipment (though with digital recording and presumably sequencing), so it really works as a followup album. No obvious samplers here, which is a nice change.
