Excellent album by one of germanys most important person behind the scenes of electronic music. As a founding member of Kompakt he helped to shape the sound, that became a genre of its own = Cologne Clicks/ Schaffel / Minimal Techno whatever you wanna call it. This album is very nice. I got the CD version to get 8 instead of 6 trax and Im glad i bought the C - it is working very good as an album. All tracks sound good. Highlights are the Title Track the trancy Techno Hymn Touch, Neue Luthersche Fraktur" Dancefloor action and already in Sven Väths playlist and of course the minimal, hunting slow builder, that is "Funky Handi Cap" (the last track on the Vinyl-Version)= Awesome!!! Amabile finishes the CD version in a nice melodic and rhythmic manner. Thats what makes Touch so special. It got melodie, rhythm and a lot of different flairs that work together just fine. Maybe i have to get the Vinyl as well, to get the most out of the mentioned hits - or wait till more 12"es and remixes will follow. The best and most important work from a german Techno Producer since Wolfgang Voigt came up with the 1996/1997 album "Lifes A Gas" by Love INC..
