This is by far the most experimental release from the hands of Gerald Donald. His earlier releases under this Der Zyklus monniker are far from experimental, they are mostly plain, some times deep, dancefloor electro tracks.
This Biometry album goes far beyond standard electro. It's more abstract and experimental compared too his earlier works. Since the death of his partner in crime, James Stinson, he seems to explore this side of electronic music. The next Donald album; Quantum Transposition (Arpanet/Rephlex/2005) sounds alot like this album, but in a less experimental way. Biometry is nothing to hear on a dancefloor. Listen to it by yourself with your eyes closed, that is the perfect way to feel this kind of music. A couple of the tracks contain very well placed vocals, they are very interesting to listen to indeed.
My favorite tracks on this album would have to be: B3 Biometric Systems and D3 4000 Irises (2000) Persons Max.
