Track was inspired by the shooting of Amadou Diallo in NYC and recorded the same week of his death. Police unloaded 41 bullets on the African immigrant and hit him 19 times. A brutal case of mistaken identity.

Let me confess off the bat that I am a huge fan of "19 Bullets", one of the best techno tracks of all time, in my opinion. So, I was a little skeptical to hear the Abe Duque remixes the first time - but good god - Abe managed to take a track that was already next-to-perfect and turn it into this dark, driving monster that will go down in the Hall of Fame!
"19 Bullets" should get some sort of award for innovative production... dark, murky, with the "Preacher Man" sort of vocal effect. Even Danny Tenaglia worked it into one of his mix CD's - you simply can't go wrong with this one.
