Following the miracle of getting Masquerade's "Guardian Angel" masterminded, its publisher Intersong / Hanseatic called for a meeting and Mega was basically told by Intersong: "we've just spent an awful lot for what is a total flop here in Germany - can you guys come up with yet a miracle?". That was to be the start of Modern Talking, leading later to Dieter Bohlen (composer/lyricist) to go on with a long string of hits. Via a Mega network of licensees in various countries around Europe, "You're My Heart, You're My Soul" grew to be the kind of monster hit that eventually spread back to its originating country of Germany.
