Theeboon, Oct 31, 2005 People say labouring over music is for fools. I think anything goes, especially considering this album. Teebee has been quoted as saying he spent seven months (!) on the bassline for Tsunami. Now this tune doesnt sound tired at all and the bass truly is overwhelming, as the track title suggests. Im sure he put in enough work for the rest of the album too. Comprised of both old (Forever Lost, Liquid Light) and new music, this is a must for fans of his particular brand of unrelenting bass, rich production and deep vibes. The track Liquid Light is a corker too. It shouldve been released five years ago by ol Grooverider, who is famous for shutting down some of the best drum and bass tunes we never heard. Thankfully Teebee managed to reclaim it, as its probably his most accessible and heavy club stormer ever.
Recently appointed by Photek to remix his all-time classic Ni-Ten-Ichi-Ryu, it is clear this man (still) has a lot going for him to keep on releasing awesome music in the future.
