This track has fond memories for me as it was my first import house track. Bought at the now gone Record Village in Walthamstow, East London. A track that sounded like many that would be on the Nu Groove label over the next 3-4 years. I think the track musthave been played on Chris Forbes Capital Radio show back in 88 as this was the only legal House show playing in London that year.
what a track, serious deep house music from the early days. classic Jefferson drum programming, a lush bass line, and naive, simple, yet poignant lyrics. One of the many timeless tracks created by M Jefferson, and one that should be staple in any house appreciators collection.
