The 12" starts of with the original's space age bossa stylings with atmospheric oboe and vibes. Not too mellow and very seductive. The Break Reform remix received most attenion/playlistings when it was released. They lever up the seduction with Nanar on vocals and you think that's a better version? Then Unforcene's mix ambients it in out in another direction with more strings and more jazz in a Cinematic Orchestra style. So you think that's good. 2HK speeds it up and goes all Carlos Santana on us; and you're thinking no and I'm saying yes.
So that would be it on a normal 12", But not this one!
A bit of a slow start for Cordovan but he grooves the bass to bits and leaves you gasping. And your almost there. Oh!Polo's '69 Mix' finishes it off and gets us in dub'n'bass afrobeat mood which is as a far from the original as you could possibly go. Phew! I'm exhausted. You can't ignore this one.
