In my opinion, I think the first disk is his best work he ever recorded. Released after his death, the songs on this album were to be recorded for an album titled My Sweetheart the Drunk. I always wonder how it would have been if Jeff was to actually record the album. My favorite track is Vancouver. His lyrics are beautiful and his composing and playing is masterful.
The second disk is a couple of different versions of songs on disk 1 but the rest are songs that he recorded in private that I don't know if he would've wanted released to the general public. It kind of seems like the record company just wanted to release the album as a double disk so they just put a bunch of stuff onto disk 2 to cash in on a legend.
