Notes:
first 10,000 copies included free LP 'Sister Feelings Call'. As a thank-you to fans, 'Sons And Fascination' was sold shrinkwrapped with copies of 'Sister Feelings Call' for the price of one album. The two LP's were shrinkwrapped together. A sticker on front of the sleeve of 'Sons And Fascination' identifies the release as the limited edition double LP. (release included two inserts: the first - "The New Album by Simple Minds" featured information about the album, discography and tour dates. The second - "Simple Minds Information Sheet" featured details about official merchandise.)
The albums were later separated with 'Sons And Fascination' selling at full price and 'Sister Feelings Call' selling at a budget price.

This album is great . Not only dwas it absolutely the right sound at the right time ; you can even enjoy listening to it today, without thinking "How could i ever like this schmock..?".Steve Hillage added an extremely good production . Soundwise there are always moments when signature sounds from Roxy Music appear .'Boys In Brasil' sounds pretty much like David Bowie (arrangement wise). But this was more a compliment to those groups , that were a big influence for them . Al in all Sons And Fascinations is well balanced and shows the start of their own sound = Underground but with a lot of mass appeal . The doors were wide open after this .
