Octogonal is by far the best Lucianos work to date. This techno (?) masterpiece has a scrupulous beat programming joined with just an example of the majestic artistic skills owned by the swiss master. The use of the instruments (an excellent tool) is impressive. The attention for details is stunning, the build-up is fancy and elegant. A deep, sharp and melancholic melody will take you to a soulful listening experience. It creates in me a surreal feeling of resignation and solace... Something hard to describe. The main synth will sting you suddenly, giving you several whispers. Some tribal/latin-influenced percussions (simply amazing) fuses with the sophisticated groove in the second half of the track. I cant imagine Lucianos discography without Octogonal.
