"Unison" is a hauntingly beautiful masterpiece. It's a sustained drone of cosmic reverberation overlaid with a nimble beat that has a rhythmic capability much greater than its perceived volume would make you believe.
Actually, this is true for most of the pieces on this album (ie Mir) and is a sign of true mastery on Murcof's behalf.
"Martes" is a great album to put on while studying/reading as background music but can be equally experienced 1-on-1 via stereo headset without boredom whatsoever. The beats are complex, the arrangements are dynamic, and the rhythm I just can't stress enough - it really swings.
This would be a great way to introduce your parents to some electronica - well produced, clever, sophisticated, humble, classic.

Possibly one of the very best electronic albums of all time. Murcof's Fernando Corona works minimal modern classical samples into subtle micro beats and clicks to create an album full of emotions.
