- Austin Bascom is a true genius and his music has made a profound contribution which shaped the sound of deep house. This is an unquestionably great EP. However…. the people below hyping We Cookin Now are just record pimps trying to pump the price on this record. This isn’t even Abacus’ best output let alone “the greatest deepest house track of all time” lol. Much respect to Abacus tho! Love his music now and always.
“Rated R” contains a narration by Tupac Shakur...so I’ve been told. Beautiful cosmic house music in a Mr Fingers mould.

Really 56.17 US dollars? Wow. I bought mine in 1998 for 7 bucks. This one was is a keeper in my Deep Bin.

Opinion Rated 'R' sounds quite similar to a couple of the tracks on The Earthly Pleasures E.P. - worth checking as that record is a little cheaper (and just as good!)
