Alastis, Aug 06, 2006 Without a doubt, this is one of the shining jewels in the crown of German label Mille Plateaux. While MP is mainly known for so-called "microwave sound" and abstract techno releases, this 2XCD compilations brings together extremely diverse bands such as Beequeen, Fetisch Park, Zoviet-France and Oval. No less important than the music is the cause itself - its a dedication to French philosopher Gilles Deleuze who killed himself some time before this compilation was released. If nothing else, he was a very complicated person and so were his writings, but thankfully one doesnt need to understand his works in order to enjoy tracks presented on the compilation. Was the above review useful to you?
