First heard BJ as Homeskill on the MOOD album. This is a great 12" and meant a lot to me at the time. The B-Side track "Alive" literally inspired me to get through some tough times. Positive rhymes over Usef's spiritually charged boom-bap (complete with a sort of faint monk's "OM" chant!) The A-Side joint is dope also, typical J-Rawls production (which means it's great quality), good rhymes from J-Sands also and Rawls on "Torch".Was the above review useful to you? (report)
