I heard this the other day for the first time on a Levon Vincent mix. Fucking-A, how did I miss this first time round? What a monster.

One of the best modern house riffs ever made (even though it is now 15 years old), I used to play this out all the time, AVH was cool then before it went silly and this alias produced such an infectious mixable house groove. It was always underrated until I last witnessed it at DC10 Ibiza in 2008 and was feckin ace! I hope Armand played it and not sampled it but if it was sampled would love to know where it came from. CLASSIC!

'The Mole People' is an alias that reflects the underground nature of the project and this release certainly justifies this.
I heard 'Break Night' just a week ago and OMG its an amazing track! The tune is based on a simple synth/bassline and is filled with so much soul! Clearly an epic; you get that classic feeling when you here it (it keeps ringing in your head). Proof of Armand's artistic genius. This is a must have in any house collection.

This is really funny, I remember that in 1995 in a magazine was written that the labes were confused, so that would mean, that the one track all the people love is not break night, but ocean. No matter, this track is one of the most popular house tracks and an alltime-favourite of really many famous dj´s, still!! You could say that it was a different time, when this track was made, but this is too easy. This lovely peace of music is just that, what you call a hit! No questions in what drawer you have to classify it and something you can´t say definitely 'minimal', 'deep', 'tribal-attitude' or whatever!! Just a mothaf%&§"$ great song!
