A masterpiece album, see my review of the remastered version. The sound on this early CD version is so mediocre compared to the new CD or the original first pressing vinyl that It rates a 4 instead of 5 due to the sonics. But the bottom line is the music, and if your budget is tight, you'll find this used for a couple of bucks and it will blow your mind if you OPEN your mind. Listen to it on headphones and put aside any personal bias agains POPULAR music, and pay attention to the storytelling, the clever lyrics and allow the highly complex and musically sophisticated arrangements to take you on a journey.
