Francois' take on the past twenty-five years of dance music in NYC is a broad reaching studio mix. The track selection is as disparate as James Brown and Basic Channel; Jazz, Funk, Afro-Latin, Disco, Hip-Hop, House, Techno and Drum n' Bass all get nearly equal parts. Some of the mixing transitions are a bit forced, but overall there are some truly great song sequences that make this eclectic yet excellent mix worth coming back to. Worth a five. Was the above review useful to you? (report)
