I remember that when this track was on the charts and getting heavy rotation on MTV I could not understand what was so great about it but in summer 1998 I heard it getting dropped in a club and then the track sounded so good. I got this "out of body experience", suddenly I could really feel the song and needless to say it rocked the club. The whole filtered disco thing was going on, most just straight up sampling of the original but Armand has sampled "Dance With You" with great taste, very smart and not obvious. Without Duane Hardens vocals the song would not be the same, house music with attitude! For me it's not often a song bring back memories as "You Don't Know Me" and I know I'm not the only one. Hey guys, listen to it again and you will agree with me!
