This is one of those records that will go down in history as one of the defining moments in Detroit Techno. "Jazz is the Teacher" is simply one of the finest tracks ever concieved by man and should be considered up there on par with other tracks by Juan like "No Ufo's". Every track on this record is amazing and if you don't own it you're missing out big time. If you see a copy out there buy more than one because you'll be wearing this one out.
Jazz is the Teacher is a great tune but is totally in the shadow of Cosmic Courier. This song just pulsates with emotion creating a sweet sonic landscape that just has you floating along, and when the beat kicks in. BOOM!!!!!......
