This is one of those UR/Red Planet/Mike Banks records in which sometimes, if you can catch yourself feeling it, you realize the native American musical motifs or intimations. Here, theyre in the ritualistic chant from the Astal Apache (AKA Banks) on Wardance, suitably techno-ized of course by by means of looping, and possibly even ReCycling (or some other similar creative computer editing technique) - in the end, it sounds human, but barely earthly and sits in Drexciyas maelstrom techno trip as aptly as a lucid dream. This is a great double pack, but its all about this track for me. And yes, I said Drexciya. Dont tell me you didnt know?
