oh man, this records kicked my ass a few times.
the first time I REALLY remember hearing this record was not too long after it came out. Wade Randolph Hampton was playing a set from my crate cos his records were lost in transit (god bless american airlines) and he drops "Desire" first off beautiful, haunting, then the spin towards the back of it. that just killed me. Not too mention where the beats pick up. I probably yelled. Late night sessions, I've had some people who should know ask me what it is when I've played it.
microlovr is just one of those tracks that is stunning to play, not in the tears and want of "desire" but a more building way. my machines comes from four jazz classics, and jam the box is carl getting tracky or something, play with the subsequent jam the box ep for additional beat down fun.
