Just about as good as it gets for Detroit-styled techno-funk. There are very obvious Jazz influences in this track that really fit well with the sounds presented. The melody is riveting, and the music is absolutely beautiful. This song is wonderful within or without the context of techno, jazz, Detroit, or anything else. Superb release.

Only Mike Banks himself would be able to make, what is in my opinion, the greatest of all records even better with this live version. This version, although obviously the same cut as the original, replaces the synthesised saxophone that is predominant throughout the song with a live saxophonist. The results are spellbounding. The other noticeable difference involves the addition of a gorgeous piano line replacing the acid line, that features on the original track. Again, this truly adds that extra touch of class to an already beautiful song. I cannot recommend this track enough. An absolute must have!! Many thanks to Mike and the crew for releasing this.
