Not a big fan of BPitch usually but here i have to say that Gebrunn Gebrunn is absolutely amazing, a BOMB, probably the best song of 2005 imho, and one of the most powerful and original techno tunes that ive heard for a long long long time.
Try to picture a groovy techno (off)beat with subtle old trance atmosphere, then rises this very emotional horn hook sounding like the siren from the boat on Fellinis Amarcord movie deep from a cold foggy night, and finally these otherworldy Makin A Livin vocal samples coming out of nowhere with special spacey treatment...wow.
James Holden dropped that one the other night and i was almost crying.
Anyway a tune that can use that Makin A Livin thing in 2k5 without sounding clichéd is really something special.
